10:05 am	While you're away the managers will play ... Ugh! I asrrived to work today in a good mood. Until, I looked at the schedule. While I was on leave, they cut a staff in the classroom (to 2). However, they still managed to add another staff. URGHHHHH .... (Comment on this)
5:59 am	Back to the grind I went to the doctor yesterday, and they cleared me for regular duty. I'm going back to work today, yeah! Hopefully there isn't any residual weirdness with my co-worker (see my previous post). On another note, Tris flew to Austin for a BIG opportunity last Saturday. He's going to be away for three weeks. I'm supportive of my honey, but of course I miss him. Then, he's flying home for four days. We're hitting Plague (VJ PROTO) on May 15th, and he's doing a robo cam gig for The Revolution the next day. 12:40 am	Give me a break! While relaxing with Tris today, of course we ended up @ Guitar Center. I wandered into the DJ room and saw this piece of shit. The I DJ! Pure shit. If this is what you resort to, why the fuck do you want to DJ??? Maybe I'm just too much of a purist, and believe in tangible media, like CDs. 6:41 pm	The Man who can't say sorry Yesterday began oddly. I spilled my coffee all over the staff office, twice withing five minutes of punching in. Then, I spilled coffee in my supervisor's office. What is going on here? I'm not usually this clumsy. This would only be a precursor of things to come. Flash forward a few hours to the kiddies weekly gym class. One of my co-workers thought it would be fun to throw large balls @ the other staff. He struck me in the back, while I wasn't looking. For those of you who don't know, I'm prone to chronic back pain and sometimes this leads to back spasms. Yeah, I know that my line of work doesn't help this condition, but I love my job (really). Anyways, I told him to stop, and he laughed. Then, he proceeded to throw the ball @ my other co-worker. Just my luck, it bounced off him, struck me in the face and sent me flying back on the wood floor. I manged to jam my thumb pretty hard, catching all of my weight. You'd think that he'd apologize? Nope, he decided to laugh at me. Then, he played dumb when I said I wanted to get it check out @ Employee Health. Then, she said it might be broken, go get an X-Ray. Super! Just what I need! Then, as I'm leaving I see him again. I tell him they're sending me out for X-Rays ... "Oh well." he says!!!!!! WTF! Pure fucking stupidity, it's one thing if the kids hurt me. It's another if it's a staff acting like a seven year old! After three hours in the walk in clinic, there's good news. It's not broken, BUT it's sprained. Now I'm out of work for a week .... I was SO pissed! That is until I walk outside and remember, it's Spring! Thanks for the week off - Jack ass! Tonight I'm gonna wish Dolly off @ Hell and bring her to the airport in the morning. 7:05 pm	Time Flies I just got contacted to help plan my ten year high school reunion. I skipped my five year reunion, so most of my classmates haven't seen me since graduation. Heheheheheheheheehehe! 5:05 pm	I didn't even fall!! I decided to do something that I haven't done in a long while. I went ice skating with L & R. There were definatly some quirks. Like, why does everyone skate in one direction the entire two hours!! My right knee is NOT amused. The composition of skaters was 98 % kiddies. I really wouldn't mind, except the cute kiddies appeared to constantly wipe out in front of me. This is concerning, because the last time I skated was oh, nine year ago! Alas, I managed to skate for 2 hours w/o falling down! I feel very accomplished. Tonight: Hitting a private party in Providence w/ my oldest friend (Brian). It should be ... interesting. 6:08 pm	Happy Holidays! Today has been a busy, and exciting day already. I spent last night w/ my honey, Tristan. We hung out and watched some movies. Then, we made midnight pancackes. I met up w/ Tris' brother and new wife @ his family's home (Attleborro). Hmm, I feel like I forgot something ... crap! My dad's presents (still in Warwick). Since, I'm meeting him @ noon in Woonsocket, I drive back to Warwick. I maneuver the horrid traffic near Gregg's. Why does everyone get that glazed look in their eye when going to pick up their pies & cakes? Finally, I'm back on the road, but still manage to be an hour late for lunch. I need to text less while driving, and pay more attention to the exits. Lunch was snazzy, then off to dad's to exchange gifts. Much fun was had, thanks to everyone. 8:08 pm	21st century relationship I awoke for work this morning to some very exciting news. Tristan, my Honey's bands, 151 & Blue Eyed Fools, made it to iTunes!! Then, I cruise over to iTunes after work. Behold, Blue Eyed Fools performance at The Century Lounge on 11/28/06 is there. Our first date, immortalized on iTunes. What a 21st century occurance. The fluid mayhem that was contained in the last 1/2 hour ... amazeing. The welcomeing community in Portland created by Amy, Jamie, and all the regular fellows.
